yea of course it can be done ..its just a matter of making it happen...i mean if there can be quad turbo setups then why not ..and itll solve the problem of slow spool ups we have wit larger turbos..im used to driving high compression smallblock chevys on tha street and having my power on tap when i want it is a wonderful thing ..lets be honest turbo lag sucks ..

keep in mind that an additional turbo means more energy to power it. There is simply too much parasitic loss to throw more than 2 turbos on the 2jz. Turbos now spool much faster and responds much quicker than before; there isn't really an advantage to have more turbos over one very good turbo. VGT could be the answer (just like how ball-bearing was the answer), but we have yet to see.
Comparing a 1000rwhp single turbo and a twin turbo setup, the twin turbo would have much better mid-range power and drive-ability, but the single turbo has a better high end and faster top speed. of course, the twin turbo setup would cost almost 2x more to do.
sequential turbo setup at high hp would work, but you will run into a lot of problems, including premature failure of the 2nd turbo. Keep in mind that all of the above statements are only valid for the 2jz.
on the supra TT, you can install a control module to go from sequential to parallel at your heart's desire. People who go parallel are the ones that want to prolong the life of the second turbo.
happy 1337th post.

Worse comes to worse you could just do a supra TT swap. Would that work, I mean heck you're pretty much gonna be building that exact motor up, so why not just make it easier ( i know originality will fail but) it would certainly be easier.
