Default Turbo

Is there anyone that makes a turbo kit for the new IS250 ?
I really think it would be possible to put about 450hp into that car without to much drama...
I know everyone is going to say get a IS350, but one of the reasons I have a 250 is for the AWD. Which by the way is a lot of fun in the snow.
I've talked to some people about a supercharger, and they can make aprox. 300hp from the 250, but I like the benifits of a turbo. This is a project that would be happening over the next year or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not so sure your AWD and transmisson (and clutch) is going to handle 450HP without a major amount of upgrading, if that's even possible.

not to mention our engines already crank out a compression ratio of 11.8:1, putting a turbo on your vehicle is not going to produce an extra 250hp without other very costly engine mods (to handle the increased compression of the turbo's forced air)

a bolt on turbo kit that's available will only give you an extra 60hp, if i remember correctly.

I'm pretty aware of the issues with doing a car the right way...
I've been building toys for a while now...that's one of the reasons I bought the Lexus...
I didn't want to mess with anything. I just wanted to drive the thing...
Well here I am...My last toy was a full roller big block car with 800 hp.
Building a car needs to be 100%, and this would be a project. But i wouldn't be doing burnouts in the parking lot...I'd be looking at rolling on the power to avoid snapping axels and the likes. I'm sure just like any other project I will be tossing wrenches across the room by the end of it and selling the car for half of what I put into it.

I'm ok with doing an entire motor. I fact I think thats the best way.
I thought the compresion in the 250 was a bit lower then that?

Nothing is impossible if you throw enough $$ at it. Just depends on how deep your wallet is, and how much time you've got to tear everything apart and start from scratch. Rebuild the motor with lower compression forged pistons, bigger injectors, aftermarket fuel computer, etc, etc, and then build a durable drivetrain, and you would have a very fast IS250, worth about $2 resale.
