Help with my SRT install!! (gs430) pics!
1. I used the search and the instructions mention NOTHING abt this!
So I was about to install my SRT yesterday and I got nervous....I called Carlos and he kinda motivated me to go ahead and it's not that hard...I was going at it..until I noticed that my Resonator box had a Plug attached to it .... but the SRT had no place to insert this plug...
The Srt only has a place for the MAF...so I called Cliff..and he tells me if I'm stuck on installing the intake...that I should wait until I get to the ECU wiring (500x harder) ... lol ... So I jsut wrapped everything back up...
I saw Carlos today to ask him since he has installed the SRT on a couple of 430s but he doesn't recall seeing this plug on the other 430s...So I'm pretty confused
Here is the pic of the resonator...I circled the area that has the plug attached to it...what to we do with that plug in the end??? leave it out??
Thanks in advance for the help guys...I will try to take a more exact pic tomorrow...

If someone else with a 01 430 can chek if they have this same plug on their resonator...it would be awesome!!!
thanks!!

now we can confirm that there is not a plug in the back of the box.
Un screw he sensor as stated in the SRT manul.. ecarel those 2 screws are small and short don't drop them & lose them.
Put the 3/8" SRT hose on hte end that was in the resonator box. It will seem like it is the wrong size. Wet thee end and work like hell to squeeze it on.
