I have to say our car has gotten very smart.

Uschardcor, yeah I am still doing all the testing on my IS250.
I am still hesitant, at least until the sensor cycle completes again. Do not get me wrong, I have the highest hopes with future purchase in mind, but I am gonna wait though... *fingers crossed* that it works out

So how hard would it be for the body shops to install these headers?

from what i've heard over the past couple years the headers are quite a tight fit, with one being much more of a bear than the other.

unless i had a lift and a lot of spare time i'd say ill get a pro to do it.

daniel, still no plans to dyno a 350? i'd figure u'd have regular and maybe even discounted access to one with your line of work.

also, it seems most of the consumers are going to be 350 owners, so to really sell the product at its full potential, it seems that having a graph of its potential would be very reasonable.

Mazurri where are you located?

If we can work out some sort of deal for 350 headers, I'll let my 350 be the guinea pig for the headers and get some dyno numbers. I'll help wrench and everything.

Let's give the people what they want.

i read through most of the 11 pages. but i wanna get this right before i dream about these headers every nite..

say something were to go wrong the only warranty the headers void is the exhaust system? if so is that a huge deal or is this a typical upgrade? i dont know much about how engines work, but it seems to me that its not that big of a deal at all and if any one wants big gains in hp they'll purchase the headers without any quams.

a few more questions, what do the cat's do if removed or now; and will the headers affect the engine itself in the long run for postive/neagative results

i live in fl so we dont have any inspections/testing etc... just curious on what this stuff actually does

Mazzuri - if you have, in fact, solved the sensor issue, what is your timeframe on production and release of the headers for both the IS250 and 350?

I really don't think Mazzuri can answer questions like these without being an official CL vendor.

Gnerby- if u decided to get these headers what will you do about cats, you already have your secondaries off and these headers will remove your primaries..

If I bought them, I would have them coated inside and out by Jet Hot. Then I would put the secondary cats back on, and relocate the secondary O2 sensors.

Why would you you relocate the secondary sensors when you put the secondary cats back on?

The secondary O2 sensors only monitor the primary cats. By removing the primary cats, the secondary O2 sensors will alert the ECU that something is wrong. If I relocate the secondary O2 sensors behind the secondary cats, then I hope that the ECU won't notice a difference. It isn't a perfect plan, but I have a strong feeling it would work.

Guys, there is no more CEL, the SIM is working perfectly.

I can't discuss anything sale related on this site. Sorry.
