Apples to Oranges but a friend has a new Duramax diesel Pickup. The new models have a cat-like tip in the exhaust for diesels. They told him if the tip was taken off or the exhaust was removed for an after market one they would void your entire warranty. Car guy to car guy, not salesman B.S.

Except, it is BS, since they'd be violating federal law by trying to "void your entire warranty" for an aftermarket exhaust.

Oops, my mistake, void your entire engine warranty if the tip is removed. Something to do with the E.P.A.

I make everything my self. My collectors are just like the Burns Stainless ones, anything else is not worth using.

It would be nice to just buy collectors made, would sure save me a lot of time but as was pointed out two would equal the price of the header.

Noticed that all 10 initial sets are sold. Can't wait for someone to post feedback. There are a couple of 350 owners, a couple of AWD 250 owners, and several 250 owners - should be awesome to get some info after install!!

There are still 2 cats and a resonator in place, it will not be much louder. Unless all that was taken out.

I have a Tanabe on my 250. I am taking my car in on Wednesday to have Daniel put on the headers. I will let you know how it sounds once I get them on. If I can figure out how to get a video online i will make a video.
