Thanks for sharing the dyno files! I did my computer geek thing, and exported the raw data to Excel, averaged the before and after runs and plotted them together, and they are virtually the same. It is unfortunate though that this dyno didn't provide AFR numbers. I think that's going to tell us what the problem is.

On a side note, it seems that the dyno operator should have given more cool down time between runs. It looks like he only waited 1 minute between some of the runs.

At the moment no, some more testing needs to be done to see what the car is doing while the CEL is on.

if you guys can't solve the CEL problem then you can send the headers my way and I can get it dyno'd, since I haven't had any problems with my sim. Then we can compare v.1 to v.2 and stock

I don't see how that point could have been any more clear in the posts above.

I hate automatic cars, a dyno that shows what is going on in the last 1.5k RPMs is so stupid.

Mazzuri:
hmmmm , so V2 for the 350 made less gains than the first 350 one? Since ur headers for the 250 made the most power and you intially stated somehwere that the size of the primaries and collector that are made by you actually favors the 350 more than the 250, Therefore one can assume that the primaries and collectors need to be a bit larger in diameter than usual for the 350? ( is this what changed from v1 to v2?)

Another idea; have u tried putting the exact same headers that u made for the 250 on the 350? (since the OEM headers are the same for both)? Wouldnt this be worth a shot as the bigger the tubes got the less power they made??

^^^ There isn't any reason to try anything different without knowing what's going on with the A/F and ignition timing. Without knowing this, we really can't put much value in the dyno test.

As Gernby said, we need to see the data from the ECU on what it is doing and how the CEL is effecting the car, before taking the next step.

I guess it looks great for the 250 owners. A couple of questions:

1. What is the real difference in 0-60 times, and 1/4 miles for the 250?

2. What is the real hp and torque at the crank for the 250 after headers?

I live in California, Downey, would be interested.

Ok, maybe I'm a gluten for punishment... I reinstalled the headers tonight. I have 6,891 miles on my car. I will let you know if have anymore CELs. I hope all my issues were fixed at the dealer. I'm not very optimistic though.

I havnt ran the car on the street yet. But when I started it in my garage, the car actually sounds a lot better now, comparied to when I did it the first time I installed the headers. So I have my fingers crossed.
