I know people who feel their cars are faster with more stickers. Feel is a poor measure of performance. A closed course and a watch are better than any "feeling."
I have spend a lot of money on things I was told would make more power over the last 30 years. Most of them are/were garbage. Expecting to feel a 1.5% - 2.0% difference in power just isn't real. Feel starts at 5%. So, if you're getting 15+ hp, you'll feel it. If you're getting 5 - 6 hp, you won't feel it. You might measure it, but you won't feel it.

my understanding is $450 for the new intake system will also include the new air box, as stated earlier in this thread. i think ill wait and see how it performs/sounds before making my final decision for a JoeZ, or i might be impatient and buy the JoeZ sooner than i thought...considering itll be 2-3 weeks before its in-stock again. guess ill wait for our small northwest meet at the end of this month and see how it sounds in-person
ps. f-sport accessories are being released in april

Hi all,
This question is probably more for JoeZ but I welcome a response from anyone of course. One thing I wondered is the potential negative impact of installing the JoeZ intake tube when it comes to long-term durability. One end of the intake tube is attached to the intake while the other end is attached to the air box. Since the tube is a rigid piece I would have to imagine that any movements the engine makes on its mounts (albeit very small movements I know) would translate to movements into the airbox that is attach to the body. I'm just playing devils advocate here but I'm curious to know if anyone considered this before their purchase or if Joe made any observations of this potential drawback.

I have been driving a few thousand miles with the Joez pipe and a Blitz intake, and been very happy with it, I took it of yesterday as i am due for a service at the dealer and noticed right away the differences in performance and noise, OEM doesnt sound that good!! I will for sure recommend joez.

does JoeZ sound difference come in high rpms, instead of low rpms caused by axle-back exhaust?
if so, the it's good, coz I feel my tanabe axle-back sound dies in high rpm (3.5kup). then after 3.5l or so, joeZ sound come in.
Am I right?
