wow, a 245/45/19 is 2" - 2.5" taller over stock diameter. I can see them not being a problem in the rear, but the front is a different story. How low is your car? do you rub when you turn? I my self, if I ever got 19s I was thinking of going with a 40, but I hate the price tag they have.

Looking at the pic, they don't look like 45s. Have you read the sidewall numbers. Not saying that you are not telling the truth, but may be the shop installed something else. A 245-45-19 has a diameter of 27.7" stock wheels are 25.2"-25.7" deppending on which wheels you have.

GS Fonzy - I apologize man, YOU are absolutely correct! I have 245/35/19 on there. For some reason I thought they were 45's. I measured the overall rim/wheel diameter also; it is a hair less than 25.5". The tires have a 2" sidewall.
Thanks guys for the tire recommendations I will check them out. BTW, I need these tires for my 19's not my stock 16's.

Nitto has a 20" drag radial coming out this spring if you are looking at getting new rims at all. they come in 275's and 315's. as for just going wider, if you have much negative camber in the rear, going wider will basically just mean more of the tire wont touch the ground fully. perhaps a camber correction kit would help more than a new tire. on my supra, getting the camber closer to 0 degrees and staying with the same tire cut .2tenths off my 60ft at the track.

Great info.! But I really don't have any camber...if I do it's barely noticable.
