you lower the compression so that the engine can handle more boost without detonation problems.

You can see just by the number of stop offs how much different the two systems are.
Both kits have there positives, you have to remember the twin screw is also more efficient then the roots rotors...

a centrifiical is not a 1:1 drive either. There has to be some gear change to get it to spin at those speeds. Maybe I wrong, any pro's?
Twin screw is my choice between Roots, centrifical and twin screw.
