decisions decisions..
hey guys, I'm stuck on two choices I have with my car right now. I'll try to make it simpler by listing my options and what I want
what I'm trying to achieve:
1. more agressive, deeper tone through 3000-6500 powerband
2. more whp, minimal gains are acceptable
choices:
1. K&N Typhoon Intake (used)
2. removal of secondary cats
my funds are limited so this is just another small step forward
oh and I currently have:
1. JoeZ
2. HKS Hi-power
thx guys!

If you are strictly just doing this for a more agressive, deeper tone on the intake side...
...install the K&N and remove the cats too...
If you remain the way you are now, and just remove the secondary cats, you are looking at about 1-2 rwhp gain and a bit more exhaust tone...
You will also get to keep your current low end torque..

i'll take some vids tomorrow night, im at work and don't have my digi on me plus i got work to finish tonight. all i can say is that with the hks, u can't hear the intake till about 3.5k but at 4k she opens up. all i can say is with the ****ty dunlops and the little bit of snow that fell last night i spun all 4 tires with the traction control on....and i sounded really good.
vids can be posted within the next few days.
