I think this should help. The GS400 wiring is the same as the GS430 except for the ECU location. The red numbers are the 6 wires coming from SRT ECU and the Blue numbers are the 5 wires going to the Car ECU.
As you notice wire 3 and 4 from the the SRT ECU connects to wire 3 ( ONE WIRE)to the engine.

No it won't work. All that diagram is showing is the wiring colors, the tuning of the ecu is different, you are comparing a 4.3 liter to a 4.0 liter, the Srt ecu will NOT work with any other model then what it's labeled for. If you install the 430 Ecu on your 400 you are risking serious damage through to your engine through improper tuning.
