not a bad point. Not sure how much the JoeZ pipe is these days, but if you think about it, it's the same HP gained for 109.00 bucks. A combination of a few things could shave off .2x or even some better times around the track..I noticed that oddyssey had another battery up from from the 680 called the 925T. It says it's 24lbs and looks like you could probably use that as an everyday battery?

The 925T is a good compromise between lightweight and performance.

Thought I would throw this out here in case anyone was wondering. The spare, jack and the small tool kit weighs 36lbs. Combine this with the approximate 35lbs you can save with a lighter battery and now it's like having 4-6 more rwhp for under $100.

Personally, I think a 925 would be totally fine for a couple weeks. The 925 has a 50% higher CCA compared to the stock battery, and it is effectively a deep cycle. The only way that it doesn't measure up is in total capacity. It only has 28 AH compared to the stocker's 70 AH (when brand new). However, I doubt a 1 year old stock battery that sits for weeks at a time would be anywhere close to 70 AH.
