Default Whats up with the headers?

Is there a company that has headers for the V8 yet? I dont want to buy headers just to have them crack and rewelded. What ever happend to JPI? I thought they were coming out with a set that were made better. I heard theres a company in china thats coming out with them in mass production and that they will be rebranded. Maybe OBX gonna pick them up. Evenually im going to break down and buy the S&S headers for my 430. That 20hp and 30 tq is well needed and Ijust dont want to be dissappinted down the road

JPI has some. S&S supposedly fixed the cracking problem and from what I have heard no one has had a problem since they fixed them. They both make similar numbers but I think the S&S are slightly higher if I recall.

Last I heard JPI is not going to do production headers unless there is an order for 50 sets.

So far so good on the thicker gauge tubing and the reinforced welds on the latest S&S headers. Definitely a strong addition to any GS but especially the 430s.

The good thing about the 430s is easier installation than the 400s. Even easier to R&R once the S&S are installed.

no problems out of my S&S headers! installed them on my second car last week and they are fine! no signs of cracks after over 7K miles on the other car of hard driving!
