Default Intake on 2000 GS300

i plan on buying a universal intake tube with a K&N filter... Do you think this is a good idea or should i just leave it alone... Did anybody else do this and does it make a difference... Any other suggestions

I say be waring because intakes, whether brand name or custom, tend to throw CEL sometimes. Whichever route you choose to take, definately get something like a SAFC and have it tuned with your intake. You will see way better gains and won't have a CEL.

I got the LMS cold air intake on my GS3 and never got CEL, but definitely go with the A/F controller if you are putting on a intake.

depends on the direction you plan for your car. if mild, an intake isnt going to make a whole world of difference.

i researched the srt vs other intakes. guess what i ended up with...a simple drop in. but then again, i'm not all about the engine and power. GL!
