K&N vs. Joe Z
#3
Get the Joez.
Many people on forum have debated and tried different intake, and most ended up with Joez.
Not really any significant signs of power increase with Joez, however I do believe that it gives us a better throttle response.
Its quiet just like the stock system. However if you want the WOT sound, than i would suggest other brands of intake such as K&N and Fujita, etc.
I have heard Fujita in person and it sounded great, however my friend did mention that he didn't really feel any gain either.

Here is something you can read about K&N.

There aren't a lot of threads about K&N due to not many CL members ended up with other intakes other than Joez.

K&N also makes dry filter. However, I'd stick with the Joe Z being that it utilizes the stock airbox for better air flow straight to the throttle body. Other intakes have the filter out in the open.

Nothing advance search can't do! When ever I had a question, thats the first place I go..than end up spending the whole night browsing through other stuff................................This site should come with a warning.

I'd like to see data supporting improved acceleration from any of these devices. Dynos are not real world. Beating someone you shouldn't be able to beat is. Faster mph in the quarter mile is also proof you're making more power. AFAIK, none of the aftermarket intakes have been able to prove they make the car accelerate quicker.
I have a personal dislike of K&N for a number of reasons, not the least of which is their products do not deliver their marketing claims. I've bought them, installed them, used them, and never have been able to replicate their claimed results. I would never run an oiled air filter in front of a hot wire MAF - the same kind we have in the ISx50.
If I had any inclination to run one of these devices, it would be the JoeZ. It looks good, doesn't do anything bad, and Joe doesn't make outrageous claims about what his product does.
