Default Tanabe Medallion Touring vs. Greddy EVO II

Ok guys, exhaust poll time !! So I have an '01 GS430 as you can see in my sig, and I want to upgrade my exhaust, I have a nice aggressive sound up front with my SRT and I need an exhaust which will compliment it in the rear while providing good performance gains ... Now here's the thing, i HATE droning and don't want something that sounds like a Honda exhaust, so I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to these two ... What would you guys pick? I want a nice aggressive sound without it being annoying, and I know both of these will provide decent performance gains since they are both cat-back ... guys with these exhausts please post up sound clips and pictures. O yea and in the future when i get more $$$ I will be upgrading to the S&S Headers ... Guys please list pros and cons and feel free to give me any suggestions for any other exhaust that would satisfy my taste

The Greddy design does not flow well with our cars IMO. I used to have this exhaust on my old Honda. It was fine on there; not on a Lexus. The Tanabe or Apexi WS exhaust look great on these cars. The design of the muffler of the Tanabe and Apexi are similar to the stock muffler design (except for the tips and stainless steel contruction).

Make sure you change out your exhaust hangers. I was using my stock hangers that were stretched out and my Hyper Medallion was moving around a lot. It would also vibrate and I could feel it in the cabin. After I changed to new stiff hangers from autozone, all of the vibration went away.

Are the exhaust hangers from Autozone OEM quality? I was thinking of going to my local dealership to buy some new ones ...

Alright just wanted to update this thread ...

I've had the Tanabe MT on for a little while now and I am completely in love with it, quiet during normal driving and at WOT I get to listen to my SRT and TMT singing in harmony ... I can't wait to get my headers ...

I definitely recommend this exhaust ...
