Default Right exhaust for me, need opinions from exhaust owners

Hey guys, i want to get an exhaust for my 08 is350, the hks from lexus looks great but for the money its not worth it. Whats the next exhaust in terms of sound. I dont want loud at all, just a little more throaty then the hks lexus exhuast. I hear the tanabe is next in line and that sells for around 500-600, thats all subjective though, what do you guys think. Throaty, good looking, but not loud, more for family driving and nice sound at WOT. I do alot of highway cruising so i dont wanna hear the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa when doing regualar driving! If the tanabe is the next quietest does anybody have the tanabe, how does it sound at 80-85mpg in 6th gear. Is it quiet or does it have the constant groannn

i have the tanabe and i love the sound. it is not too loud but is def more throaty than stock. there is no interior resonation and it looks great. the only prob i had is i hatre the chromey look of the tanabe mufflers so i painted mine matte black and now it looks awesome!

sounds like the tanabe medalion will work for you. There is no droning when cruising.

Tanabe will be the one for you!
not too loud but it's definitely noticeable when you accelerate!
it sounds deeper than OEM, but not too loud!

you will barely noticed it at 80~85 mph at 6th gear
BTW you said 80~85 MPG..i hope you meant MPH..

anyways,,try to meet up with fellow CL member who owns Tanabe
and see how you like it in person..
people have different taste and different ways of defining Tanabe or
any other exhaust..the best way to get a taste of it is to see and hear it
in person!! good luck anyways..

definitely tanabe is the answer. your concerns are exactly the same as mine. we were in the same boat and I went with tanabe. no regrets but I wish it's louder sometimes, but in the highway or cruising at 60-80mph, i'm very much glad that I have tanabe
