Default PHR Intake Pipe, Opinions

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to show something that might be a cool thing to add to your IS300, this new Intake Pipe Kit that goes in the stock location using a new drop in K&N Filter. This will remove the baffle / Plastic pipe and add a polished pipe that will still use the factory breather hose.

We will have the option of a kit with or without the K&N Drop In Filter and also if you want Black, Red, or Blue Silicone.

Here are some pics of the kit in and out of the car.

Joe at Powerhouse Racing should have some Dyno Sheets for me sometime today. They are testing the pipe with and withought the K&N and are also testing the MAP ECU 2 to see if there is any power to be gained with it

Price will be $95 without K&N Filter and $155 with K&N Filter

Let me know what you think about this new item!

Installed on my personal IS300

Regards,
Robert

Joe over at PHR has already posted the same add in the PHR section on my.is. They were testing the MAP ECU2 on my car so I didn't get the chance to do the dyno runs. Should get something by this weekend.

I was very aware of it, PHR just wanted to make one as well for my car as my IS is their test car for everything they are going to start coming out with soon.

Oh ok... I see...

So they basically want to test & make an intake design that has already been out for years???

No, I wanted the pipe so me and Joe made it. We have a fully functioning shop with everything necessary to make it so why would I purchase one premade? All it is is a pipe with a 45 degree bend then drill and weld a bung .

Robert

Ok that seems to make sense...

... But when I read your 1st post, you ask for opinions about "this new item" being proposed....

Well it's a "new" item from PHR. He liked the way it came out so he wanted to see if there was going to be any interest in it.
