Default F-Sport Performance Air Intake on IS350

I just installed the F-Sport Performance Air Intake on my 2006 IS350 and it is really great. I think it has better performance and nice sound.

Here are the installation instructions in case anyone wants to see them (13 pages):

http://www.mastersdiving.com/lexus/installation.pdf

Here is a link to a video (it sounds much better than in the video):

And some photos:

This is the F-Sport intake, not the IS-F intake. Thread title changed correspondingly.

Default F-Sport Air Intake

You are correct. I changed my posting to reflect "F-Sport." Thanks!

I'm curious - how much louder would you say it is than your stock intake?

The F-Sport Intake sounds LOUD when you floor the car. You can tell you have a different intake connected. It sounds really nice and worth the money in my opinion.

Looking good I wonder how much hp the F-sport intake adds to the IS350. I know it isn't much, probably around 5-8 hp? I noticed Lexus is very careful not to mention anything about specific hp gained with this intake.

Sounds great! Looks like a must-add item as long as they don't price gouge too hard.

Javy, from the video, do you think the F sport intake sounds similar to the K&N?

They don't make any claims because in all likelihood, there are none.
