Default F Sport Exhaust

This weekend i got a chance to hear the F-Sport Exhaust on a IS 250 MAN/RWD and i have to say it was much louder then the previous Lexus HKS.

Now i am wondering if it would sound the same on my IS 350.

The F-Sport is different from the Previous Lexus HKS? I thought it was the same.

I heard the same rumor and now I'm confused. Anybody here know the definitive answer?

I have the new F-Sport Exhaust on IS350 and it is definitely loud, way to loud for my liking. I was wondering if it is the same as the old HKS, would the silencers work, if not then I am going to go back to stock.

Dale, you're the first person I think that bought the F-Sport Exhaust on CL!

You should make us a video of the sound...Can you compare it at all to the Tanabe Medallion?

When you say loud, how intrusive is it in the cabin?

Please share more details on your experience. I am seriously considering the F-Sport.

At highway speeds or when driving normally the sound is unnoticeable, however when accelerating the interior noise sounds like a Honda Civic with those coffee can exhaust, not in keeping with the Lexus image at all. Between 800 and 3600 rpms when you really get on the throttle the loudness is very annoying. I had a Porsche a while back that I had the same problem with, had to go back to OEM.

What you're describing it's like Tanabe but you don't hear the droning for Tanabe until 3000rpm. If it sounds like those stupid Honda civic just forget about F Sport. There's no way I want to make my Lexus sounds like a Civic.

i think the silencers you are thinking of are made for the non lexus hks hi-power exhaust. i don't think those particular silencers are compatible with the lexus hks or the f sport, can anyone confirm?
