My '94 GS300 has developed a sticking butterfly or linkage assembly in the fuel intake or air manifold. The "stick" on occurs with the car electrically powered and at idle. The stick occurs only at idle. Has anyone experienced or seen this? It appears to be electrically associated. There is no stick when the engine/electical power is off.
Thanks to all!

What do you mean by "sticking"? Geting stuck on high or low RPM, hesitating, or stalling the engine all together... ?
Anyway, hope my story will help. Something simillar happened to me once on my GS400... . Throttle body got stuck half-open right after starting the engine, it revved up to 4000-5000 RPM. The difference is though, that GS400 has a drive-by-wire throttle. I'm sure in my case it was wrong computer code.
Anyway, the car was still under warranty and I immediately took it to the diller (the thought that it can happen while driving was giving me chills). The diller assured me that the ECU will shut down the engine immediately if that happens. To make it short:
after 12(!) days in service the replaced the throttle body twice(first time it wouldn't drop idle bellow 2000RPM) and the whole ECU(!!). Looks like it worked.
Somehow, I'm sure that your problem should have a cheaper solution, check relays, contacts, make sure that throttle cable and axis of the throttle body are lubricated properly and not getting stuck in any position. Good luck
