This was Borla Universal according to the guy. It sounded like a G35 but much throatier.

as long as you get some universal Borlas that fits, most (if not any) muffler shop should be able to weld something up for you.

Wondering what ever came of this? Also considering the Borla for a GS3.

l-tuned bro bought mine used on here from wringo, it's a rare piece but you might see one pop up sometime soon. I'm thinking of removing the resonators to give her a bit more growl

If I could find a RMM or L Tuned one in good shape I would buy it, but this weekend I saw the Borla tips and I really like how they fill out the rear bumper. So I just figure I may as well get the whole deal since I need an exhaust any way.

I've had on my ride the Blitz, OEM, Borla, Tanabe, and Rod Millen Motorsports in the past two years and without a double the RMM is the quietest with the best tone. All the others were either too aggressive t cruising speed, too loud WOT, or created too much backflow.

The RMM is the best of all worlds...
I LOVE THIS EXHAUST

Sounds like the issue I am having. I don't want something too loud but I do want it to be a little more aggressive than stock. If I had to listen to something droning at WOT or on the highway I would be miserable.

Your input on the RMM is much appreciated

Hey, glad I could help. The RMM is throathy, has a great rumble, and is great WOT but still classy and refined. the Tanabe, quite frankly, was a SWEET exhaust but it also garners attention and is loud enough that I couldn't have a cell phone conversation in the car....but it was the nicest sound for the car, just a loud sound.

Also, make sure to use Lexus gaskets instead of after market. They do a much better job of sealing the exhaust gases and sound between connections.

Wow this is my old thread. I already installed some Magnaflow's and did custome piping with no resonators. Its quiet at idle/highway yet deep/throaty when you get on it. I get thumbs up everywhere.

I had the Touring Medallion on my car for about three weeks. It was a lovely exhaust, just too loud for my liking. The big difference is that the Tanabe provides it's on Y-pipe, which has no resonators, while the axle back exhasut obviously use the factory Y-pipe.
