Default What exhaust is this?

Hi all, just picked up my IS250 today, and realized it had an exhaust on it. Couldnt really tell it had one until I was driving near my home and rolled the windows down. My old car I traded in was a EVO 8 with a 3" turbo back with no cat, so to me I couldnt tell it had an exhaust. Any who, I am going back to the dealer tomarow to finalize some paper work and bring them the title from the evo, and I want to make sure that this is a lexus sport exhaust and not an aftermarket. I was told by a lexus dealership that if its not a lexus part then it would void the warranty. Its late and I dont have time to seach alot and need to know tonight since I have to head there on my lunch break at work. Usually I am a search nut, but this time I just dont have the time. Thanks for looking and let me know what this is.

To be honest it sounds just like a stock 350z, but a little more throaty, I really like the sound of it.

And one more quick one I took of her, she is quite the beauty.

it looks lexus HKS to me.. or maybe tanabe, but I ruled tanabe out because there's no medallion writing in the tip.

it can't be greddy or other exhausts given that they are loud. so most likely it is Lexus HKS exhaust. look in youtube..there are videos of this exhaust and see whethre it matches the sound

Will this exhaust void the manufactuers warranty though? That is my main concern.

I didnt say it voided the warranty, i didnt know which one it was but i found some pictures on l tunned parts website and it looks just like mine. I was making sure its not like a tanabe or something that would void the warranty, but that makes me feel better now that you guys have confirmed it the lexus HKS exhaust. Thanks!

Looks like the Lexus HKS, I had one installed last week. Look at this thread and check if you see the same part number (PT916-23060) on your paperwork or on the pipes themselves.

yea..dont worry about voiding man.. an axle back exhaust cant do anything wrong to your car.. unless if there's a jumbo egg stuck in the tips

Well the tips for the Lexus HKS and F-Sport look the same so the only way to know for sure is to check the paperwork or the pipes for part numbers.

Yea I know I read that one. To me it just looks like the QC was tightened up. What I guess I meant was is there really any sound or performance difference between the Lexus HKS & The F Sport.

Going back and reading the thread again it says the F is a little louder in the car and more comparable to the aftermarket HKS exhaust. So I guess its different but an existing product that many have that is now branded as F. Either way ist all preference I guess.

Has anyone measured the HKS or the F Sport to see the diameter of the pipes and if it changes at all? I found out that the Tanabe is not consistent at all. Its lighter then OEM and gets rid of that awful bend and crushed pipe area but the pipe diameter is the same as oem? I was surprised to find this out yesterday...
