to my knowledge, taiwan does not carry the IS300. I am a member of a TW lexus site and haven't seen anyone with IS300, all members pretty much have IS250.

However, someone has posted a picture of IS300, can't rule out the possibilities of importing from china.

BTW what did u do about the sim? When i called up lookin for header part numbers truns on our headers have the sim only on one side, not both headers. FYI
to be honest, I have no idea. i am hoping the shop will know what to do. I was assured by JUN-TW that because of the cats and all it is just a direct swap.

I would tend to agree. Since you have Cats' the O2 sensors should be reading the correct signal and therefore would not need a sim' to prevent a CEL.

Good luck.

Un-freaking-believable! I turned in my car to a reputable workshop for 5 full continues working days! Just to reinstall back my OEM sway bar and springs and to install headers & midpipes…. needless to say they are still not done. I am so furious because I emphasized that I need the car on Wednesday for a road trip and now I am sc*wed for the weekend

The show stopper are the gaskit/metal o-ring connecting the headers with the mid pipes, the original ones are not reusable, and a new one didn’t come with the any of the aftermarket parts… any quick fix solution for the next 2 days?

i actually need:

2x exhaust ring gaskets (between the midpipes & headers)
1x halfmoon ring gaskets (between the midpipes & axleback)

both have the same diameter: 60mm (2.38") can anyone find me a match of any other Toyota/Lexus ASAP plz, thanks a million.

Dude, Arabs man, lazy unproffessional ****'s. But in their deefense, the headers were probably a biatch to install if they have never done iton the IS before. but then again, 5 days is ridiculous. Sucks that ur gonna miss ur roadtrip.
BTW why the hell are u putting the OEM springs back?

The gaskets from the headers to the midpipes are an aluminum type that crush when installed so they are best to be replaced with new ones. Otherwise they may not seal correctly.

The larger ring gasket between the midpipe and axleback is usually okay to be reused. But that depends on how the new midpipe designed and it they damaged the gasket when transfering it to the new parts.

I was well aware of what gaskets I needed before I installed the Mazzuri headers but I did the work myself so I made sure to read up and anything and everything that I could.

However, a shop should know better IMO.
