anyone have thoughts about HKS HiPower (silenced) with megan midpipe? will it be too loud? also...do i have the option of keeping the secondary cats?
The Megan midpipe replaces the section that has the secondary cats. Everything else you asked is so subjective that nobody could give any sort of valuable answer.
Where do u get the HKS silencer??? I have the same setup but with the invidia mids and it drones BAD. Someone on the forum said to put dynomite in the rear end, but i'm not sure if that would solve the problem. I think i should have left the car stock...
I'm gonna run my setup for a month, and if i can't get use to it I'm going back to stock.
The HKS silencers are available through HKS, and they do make a huge difference in drone without decreasing power measurably. They transformed my HKS from the most unpleasant sounding exhaust I've ever had to what I consider perfect.
