Or you can call me the guinea pig lol. I just found out that Brian Crower just made a set of upgraded cams for the 2JZ VVTi motor. I'm picking up a set of cams + springs/retainers on Monday or Tuesday. I'll keep you guys updated!
I've been waiting for this day for a long time. The ability to make power up to 7.5-8k rpm on a VVTi motor. This should be a welcome addition to my new HKS T51R turbo
I think I'm going to be one of the very very first few people in the country to run this set of cams in a 2JZ VVTi engine in a Lexus

why not get a set of HKS cams? they have been around for quite sometime and they are known to work well. I see that the crower cams have had some issues with leaking at the seals, but I am sure that this has been addressed. It's nice that a great company like Crower is making performance parts for some import motors like the 2JZ. Now if they would step up and make stuff for the 1UZ that would be awesome.

Ha! My parents honda pilot could smoke that thing. Kidding. Man, jefftsai is truly a beast. Keep up the good work. That GS will be a legend. I wish my gs engine was 1/8th of what jefftsai's car is

lol there is a big price diff between BC and HKS lol. For one HKS cam you can buy two BC's as I recall lookin on there site haha. GL with it jeff hopefully I see it next time I am back in town. Did you go with the 272 then since your buying all the springs and retainers?

There are many parts out there for 1uz, but no one wants to spend that kind of money.
