Based on my last dyno and the a/f analysis it didn't appear any type of fuel controller would make much of a difference, but you never know. The shop that has the dyno are experts at installing and tuning these devices, so maybe out of curiosity one day I'll give it a go.

What about your A/F analysis made you think fuel tuning wouldn't help? From what I've seen, our cars run just as rich up top as any other.

Here is my latest dyno compared to my previous dyno a few months back with identical mods. Only thing that changed was the dyno was moved to a new location that doesn't have air condition. Run 004 is my latest dyno from 2 weeks ago.

I don't see anything about those dyno results that would indicate that fuel tuning wouldn't help. You still have cats, so the WBO2 results aren't all that dependable, but also, the red run shows gains with a leaner mixture.

Yeah but how do we explain the top end not making any more power with the leaner mixture?

I don't think we have enough information to really explain it, but I think one of the following could be possibilities.
1) The extra 20 degrees in ambient temp caused the ECU to start pulling timing at the top of the RPM range due to climbing coolant temp.
2) The A/F just appears to be leaner when it really isn't (due to the cats).

Thanks Gernby. You saved me from spending an extra $35 on future dyno sessions with the A/F ratio eliminated.

Yes, on a dyno snow mode allows WOT much earlier without the car doing a downshift.

They charge you $35 extra for A/F results?!

What do they charge for the dyno pulls without A/F?

DAYUMMM!!! Does that include a reach around? I've never paid more than $75 for 3 pulls with AFR, and sometimes get it for $50.

Dyno event days if you can get a spot are $75 for 3 pulls, but on other days I am basically paying for an hour of time and as many pulls as I feel comfortable with.
