mine still shines as bright as the day i put it on. then again i wash my car at least once a week (lately ive gotten lazy) i use the mr. clean auto dry

i spray it with the mr clean soap, scrub it a little, and spray some auto dry on it. you could also try some stainless steel polish. not CHROME polish but STAINLESS STEEL polish. there's a difference trust me.
