Hey guys im working on a new project that may be alot of help to many of us and could use a little help and guidance in the process.Im going to be pullin my trans to replace a seal and would like to replace the dreaded 3rd gear sprag before it becomes an issue.From what Ive seen swift is the only one replaceing this sprag and they wont sell the part alone they will only install it.Heres what im thinkin I cant believe this is a special one off sprag that only swift can get Im thinkin maybe theyre takin sprag from another lex or toyota that shares a similiar trans with beefed up internals.Maybe a suv or truck???
So my first question is what model trans does my 98 GS4 have? And does anyone know of any vehicles that share this trans that may have stronger internals??Im willing to make my trans the guinea pig in this project.Thanks in advance
