TC Question
#1
Would it be cheaper for me to buy the TC in cali when i come down in july, and pay the 7% and carry it home, or would it be cheaper to have it shipped up here, no tax, but shipping, and a long wait? also, how much does the TC weigh? 30lbs? if its over 20 i don't think i can take it with me on the plane, unless i check it in a suitcase.

Sasha,
Just order it from Mo. I got mine 4 days after I put in the order.
It's about 25 lb. It's not worth it to carry it all the way back from Cali. BTW, if you put it in a suitcase, it'll cause some panic because it looks just like a bomb under the x-ray

TC works well at launch while HFI works for the high rpm. While you drive in town, you stop by traffic lights all the time but how many times you push your rmp to 6000? With TC, you'll enjoy every launch at light.
The other reason is I'm thinking about the SRT stage III SC, so why bother the HFI. I just skip this step

almost exactly what JacobT said, but one more point, i already have an Exhaust, and since it diminishes a little bit of low and mid-range power, so the TC will help out greatly with that. Since i want turbo i woulnd't get the HFI but since its going to be a long time (about 4 years) until turbo, i'll get the HFI and then turbo after, i'll then sell the HFI cheap.
