Yea... I was driving the damn thing , and pull up to a light hearing a slight knock knock... I said "whos there" and it said "a rod"

when i got it... First thing i did was an oil change. Everytime i went to drive it... I checked my oil, and made sure it was not running low.

WOW This is the one i was talking about and has got to be the most hardcore GS ever built , it's a beauty in it's own class. Great find And i believe it should be recognized on the list also

No only cars in stock form with IRS, no back halfed drag cars. I think only full weight street cars should qualify.

how bout putting him on their with a asterisk or something since this thread IS the TOP 1/4 mile times and doesnt say only street legal or DD cars or we.

Sakataj I updated the thread title, I don't want a car like that on this list that is just going to put a damper on what the spirit of this list is all about. That car will basically take the #1 spot forever, putting #1 out of reach of the ordinary GS300 owner. That car is a purpose built drag car for a shop. Having a car like that will not create excitement or competition for the members on this forum who want to go after the #1 spot. There needs to be a level playing field for everyone involved to where the normal owner can go after the #1 spot without destroying the daily driveability of his street car. The GS's are nice luxury street cars, once you start turning it into a trailer queen drag it's no longer in the same category.

Titan Motorsports has a Scion drag car that runs low 6's, it doesn't make it a Scion.

I was car #116. It was 79*F. The car is a completely stock '98 GS400, except tire sizes. 245/45/17 front Falken RT615K, 235/45/17 rear Michelin Primacy HP. Small burnout, and she hooked and jumped off the line . The car was clean, spare tire, half a tank of gas,and I weigh 240lbs. VSC off and ECT on power.

Glad to see you're racing but 15.3 @ 91 doesn't make it in the top 10 for GS400's.

Just went 11.86 @ 118.7 tonight running 10.2 :1 Air Fuel and bogging all the way down the track. Will be back for that 10 Second slip soon! I forgot the camera was running and was just talking out loud.
