Nobody is going to know you drilled an extra hole unless they already know a decent bit about the IS intake.

In which case they'll also know why the hole is there and that it isn't a problem.

Do you think people selling cars with the F-sport intake are going to have buyers ask why there's a second hole in their airbox?

if you want sound drill like 5 1/4inch holes in your airbox it sounds pretty! or just get the f sport! theres warranty on it since everyone likes that option even though i doubt you'll ever need it EVER

Fujita and Injen are both the same crap! lol Get K&N intake it comes with heat shield. However, Fujita air filter does not need to be oiled when you clean it.

K&N?? who buys them?? LOL
heard some much crap about it when I had G35..my friend used to have them in his G and he hated it! LOL

oh well...love67
in order to get the perfect Intake that you want, you just gotta find some
members who live near by you with different intake and just listen to them in person..
listening in person is the BEST way to go~! GL

If you get the Joe Z intake and cut a hole in the stock intake box you effectively have the same intake as the F-sport for 1/3rd the cost.

But some people don't like the idea of making the same hole that Lexus put into the F-sport box in their own box for some reason.

(technically you'd have to buy an aftermarket filter to have the "same" setup too but it'd still be a good $150-ish cheaper than the F-sport for the same result as long as you don't need an EO number)
