Default Which after market exhaust is the quietest?

I just put on a Tanabe MT with an intake and LOVE the sound of performance in my GS300 but the GF is not happy. I might change to some with less....rumble.

Which exhaust would you consider to be the quietest after market exhaust for a GS300?

on an I6, of those you listed, i'd guess the rmm would be the quietest. i've heard it on the v8's and it's decent.

but really, your gf isnt pleased w/the MT? wow...

Not sure if this compares but my apex ws2 on my gs430 is very quiet. Its almost stock sounding with a slight rumble. Im going to get a custom x-pipe setup done to get a little more sound out of it.

If marriage isn't in the near future, just keep the exhaust. I wouldn't want to change a damn thing on my car just because my gf doesn't like it. If she doesn't, get her to pay for a new exhaust

My friend, it is clear that your pimp hand is STRONG!!

My GF has a point and she's not pushing the issue. I have a 350Z with an intake, plenum spacer, custom exhaust, and am shopping turbo's. Her point is that I have the "go fast" loud car, the Lexus should be the luxury partner to the pair.

NOT that I plan on actually plan on changing the Lexus exhaust, I need to get some opinions for the potential and to make sure it can be accomplished (quieter sound).

Of the one's you posted I would say maybe the Borla or the RMM. I'm going to throw the Magnaflow in there too since they make the RMM exhaust.

Don't get me wrong, I like a little sound but not enough that I a client can hear my exhaust when I'm on my blue tooth in the car. I took the intake kit off this afternoon and it REALLY toned down the exhaust. The back pressure resonates enough to make things rattle in the car with the intake, the exhaust alone is fine but I would rather have something just past stock at this point.

That a bad thing for me, it a good thing for anyone that's going to want a near new exhaust on the FS section.

I have a GS430 with an SRT Intake which is the loudest of them all paired with the Tanabe MT and I have to say it's pretty quiet unless i step on it. At cruising speed my cabin is completely quiet and when I'm on the phone people didn't even know i was in the car so maybe you should keep the exhaust and just use some sound deadening in your car. That way you're happy with your exhaust and your g/f is happy that it's quiet while you're driving

If you don't want to hear your own exhaust, doesn't that ruin the purpose of putting one on?

Borla, you can't hear "ish", but once you delete the resonators, it's a whole lot deeper and louder tone.

It's not about hearing the exhaust, it's about the exhaust not becoming intrusive while driving. I'm trying to create "some" performance in my GS300, not trying to turn it into a hot rod or high performance car. If I need that fix I get into my Z350 roadster which is HEAVILY modded, beat the s*^t out of it, then get into my Lexus for some civility.

Well, if you want my feedback, I currently have on the Blitz Nur Spec exhaust. Everyone tells me it sounds like a stock 350z from the outside, and it has a very low rumble. One thing I've noticed though is if i WOT it, the exhaust becomes noticeably louder and rumbles deeper at the slightest tap of the gas.
