Why don't you actually read the thread?

FYI it's not for sale anymore.

I just went back and saw it. I overlooked it, but I did briefly scan the first time. I was just inquiring on how much it cost.

Anyway is it necessary to make comments like "Why don't you actually read the thread?" Something like "its in the thread on page 1 and cost 6000" would be better.

I read that it's no longer being produced ...just wanted to get an idea of how much forced induction runs for the IS. I'm looking into forced induction really for my Vette. That is my money pit...don't need another one.

You can boost your Vette foe a lot less. 5500$ for what you see above is a total rip off! You can build your own kit for ~2500$. There are 2 reason that this kit does not exist anymore for the 2IS. You only get 5lbs of boost and the cost is just not worth the gains. Your other car will benefit from boosting it unlike the IS. It will sound cool and give you a little more HP. I was going to do it to my IS before I decided to part ways with it. These cars along with the GS are just not good cars to modify for performance unless you do an engine swap.

If you really wanted the kit they will do it for you, you just have to front the money and they will piece it together. Really the only way to get one for less is used but buying a used S/C or Turbo you shouldn't just slap it on your car Read up and what needs to be done and more $$ to be spent.

G/L with your Vette

I hear you....just being curious...so no need to read up. I'm very well versed on the ls1 engine and worked on more than one in my time.=-) My Vette is getting something, but I'm gonna have to take out my cam any route I choose (turbo or s/c). Not in the mood to tear back into an engine right now.

Just forget it dude. I never said I read the first page. I said "scanned" and "overlooked". 15 posts on the first page and post 4 said 6k and I was still wrong b/c ISUXEL replied with 5500. If I was serious about getting one I would have searched harder and check other forums for info.
