Default Intake question

Will an intake designed for the IS350 work for an IS250?

Is there any difference that will make it not fit?

I know the engine mapping is different for each vehicle, but all the intake is, is a filter with a metal tubing right? Will installing an IS350 intake give me the check engine light provided I did everything correctly?

I am looking at an Injen short ram for IS350 for my 250.

Thanks,

I think the IS250 and IS350 share the same stock air intake.

It shouldn't make a difference.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

your engine will blow up. just kidding. shouldn't make a difference. an intake is an intake on our cars and on the 250, you have the swirly air intake manifold that's a restriction to air flow also.

imo I'd go with either AFE or JoeZ (with drop in or conical filter)
