there are not any that will make a significant/noticeable difference unless you plan to do an engine swap or supercharger...the best would be to reduce as much weight as possible so stripping the car... if you want like 1/10-2/10 of a second an air intake and exhaust...but that is more for the sound than performance...

you'll notice a diffrence with an exhast upgrade and an intake/ecu combo. it will 'feel' faster though your 0-60 will only be minimally effected.

tape a brick underneath the gas pedal- that way you cant give'er WOT!

Anyways - I would try to decrease my 0-60 time rather than increasing it..

You don't say what your car is.

If it's an IS250 the best bang for the buck is to trade it in for an IS350. Seriously.

If you have an IS350 then...not much. Almost nothing that's worth the cost certainly.

Options for the IS350 that will help but aren't really worth it-

Intake- 5 hp tops, pricing from $109 to north of 400

Exhaust- 5-12 hp depending how legal you want to keep it, pricing ranges from $600ish to $1600ish

That's about it for adding hp.

Well, there's a supercharger kit that nobody sells anymore because almost nobody bought one... it was 5-6k for about 40 rwhp. You can find one used once in a while.

Or nitrous, one user has run a 50 and a 65 shot without blowing up his motor.

Beyond that weight reduction as mentioned... lighter wheels are probably your best bet here, but they won't be cheap especially if you also want them to look good.

Most of the above doesn't exist for the 2IS (well, apart from the intake and exhaust, but they don't do much)

A short ram -is- an intake.

A poorly designed one too since it sucks in hot under-hood engine air.

It will make the car louder and the hp change will be anywhere from -5 to +5 depending on conditions. It should be so tiny as to be totally unnoticeable either way, while costing more, and doing less, than just getting the Joe Z intake.

lose weight! grab a subways sandwich and join weight watchers!

that and strip your car, slap on 1 piece forged or other lightweight wheels and nice grippy tires.

im wondering what performance upgrades can be done to the IS350 as well,
im shopping around for one right now, i test drove one last week. i fell in love! cant wait to get one, its quick, but coming from a 10sec daily driver, i would prefer a bit more power.

with 11.8:1 CR i would think that some aftermarket agressive camshafts would do wonders in horsepower gains. any info on cams out there??

This remains as true as when it was first posted. A week ago.

No aftermarket cams available either.

If you want a 10 second car, this isn't it.

well in that case, the only other thing that would help especially with 0-60 times is lghtweight wheels.
