F-Sport Intake
#19
Microsoft is basically paying people to use their live search for finding stuff to buy... so you can get 30% back on any buy-it-now item on Ebay.
The F-sport intake is sold for about $300 on ebay.
So you end up having paid $210 for it.
THe f-sport shocks were available that way too last I checked, $217 per pair after 30% cashback, for $434 for a full set.

So you end up having paid $210 for it.

There is no mention of ebay or 30% cash back on the Microsoft Live Search Cashback website:
http://search.live.com/cashback/stores/E
http://search.live.com/cashback/stores/E
http://www.microsoft.com/Presspass/p...ashbackPR.mspx
Original press release mentioning Ebay as a partner
http://pages.ebay.com/cashbackoffer/terms.html
Ebays terms of service for using MS cash back
Best way to do the deal generally is this-
Add whatever you eventually want to buy to your watch list on ebay (MUST have a buy it now and take paypal)
Now go to live search and search on "gold coin" since this will bring up a lot of ebay hits...here's a hot link for it-
http://search.live.com/results.aspx?...coin&form=QBRE
Look near the top... usually the very first link is for ebay, with a nice "live search cashback" link next to it.
Currently it's at 30% but the amount has varied in the last several months.
Anyway, click on that, it'll take you to ebay, now go to your watchlist in that window and click on the item you added earlier, buy it now, BAM, 30% cash back.
Max $200 cashback per purchase.
Max of 6 transactions total per ebay account
Max of $2500 per year in total cash back.
Enjoy

They hide that very well. Good catch. Sewell or any other store cannot compete with this since that is Microsoft throwing money away trying to get at Google.
Too bad I already bought the intake and I don't need to buy anything else.

Then, in the ebay search type F-Sport Intake. Done. 30% off.

As per the terms and conditions, it appears you use pay-pal and buy it now. And then in 60 days you get the 30% back. I never did it, I'm just reading the instructions.

As noted it required the item to be a buy-it-now and you must pay with paypal.
After the purchase your ebay messages will contain directions for going to Microsofts Live website and registering...after that you will get an email 60 days later informing you your cashback is available. You go to the cashback website and tell it to pay you and it pays the amount to your paypal account.
This'll be my 4th transaction using the discount, I've already received the cash back from the first 3...works great.
