Did Toyota make a 5.7 in 2006? I thought the 5.7 motor was brand new for 2008?

Now, if it is the 4.7 engine, it's a non VVT-i 2UZ engine, its actually weaker than the VVT-i 1UZ that's in the GS400. However if you mix up the 4.7 block with VVT-i head's, you're gonna have a monster. There are guys that are running this setup on lextreme.com.

Yeah and I dont think he even has VVT-i heads. You you marry the 2UZ and VVT-i 1UZ, its probably going to produce 350+ tq and hp.

Why won't the 5.7 fit? It would be sick swap with the trd supercharger 504hp and 540tq

Default Engine swap Tundra 05 4.7 into a tundra 03 4.7

Will this swap fit? I cannot get a definitive answer. I need to have this work.
Please any gear heads out there who can tell me HOW to make this work?
