Default Cooling Fan After Key is removed?

i noticed "hondas" and other import cars fans runs after driving with the keys removed! The fan cools down the coolant after driving so how come our cars doesnt not have this feature?

It is pointless to have the fans on after the car is off since the water pump is not rotating and no coolant is flowing.

I noticed this too, my Accord coupe use to do this after using the A/C in hot weather. Maybe it's for the A/C system??

Most likely to cool down the engine block. Doesn't turn on that long anyways.
