Now that's what I'm talking about. 100% pure Aristo Twin Turbo Power and the feds give it the thumbs up

Not sure I can justify ditching my motor (only 30k) for a used GTE and all the problems that could arise. I will definitely keep this in mind when I get a few more miles out of this one.
Fundamentally, I would do the same thing. Why trash a brand new engine if you can mod it and still have some fun. As an FYI, I'm going the way of supercharger (less than 60 days) if the deal I'm pursuing works out, Mazurri (sp) super headers, high flow cats, upgraded mid pipe, then stock Y and muffler (leaving my RMM laying around as an optional muffler). That way I can stay with my engine that I've taken very good care of and have less worries.

But, I digress. LMK if you want to borrow the Weapon R, it'll give you a good feel for what you want to do long term.

The obx header will actually make more power with a supercharger than the mazzuri will. The mazzuri does not flow enough on the topend with a s/c. Unless you have the 6 to 1 supercharger mazzuri header, just go with an obx.

word to that. ~$500 for an intake+piggyback is not ridiculous, but i don't think there's any concrete proof that it gives the gains they say it does. pick up a filter-on-a-stick on ebay, add a custom cold-air duct from your lower grille, and have probably 80% of the power gains for 20% of the price.

Actually I take my statement back. Take a new tube sock and stuff it in the intake pipe, the reduction in flow area will increase the velocity and it will be like having a turbo for way less money. Only use a clean sock however as a dirty sock won't flow as much air.
