Headers from lexpartsworld.com they had/have a 10% off sale. They are OEM 98-99, so everything is legal in the 50 states.
Now that's what I'm talking about. 100% pure Aristo Twin Turbo Power and the feds give it the thumbs up
Not sure I can justify ditching my motor (only 30k) for a used GTE and all the problems that could arise. I will definitely keep this in mind when I get a few more miles out of this one.

But, I digress. LMK if you want to borrow the Weapon R, it'll give you a good feel for what you want to do long term.

Fundamentally, I would do the same thing. Why trash a brand new engine if you can mod it and still have some fun. As an FYI, I'm going the way of supercharger (less than 60 days) if the deal I'm pursuing works out, Mazurri (sp) super headers, high flow cats, upgraded mid pipe, then stock Y and muffler (leaving my RMM laying around as an optional muffler). That way I can stay with my engine that I've taken very good care of and have less worries.

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it on any car. Simply because you're most likely going to do other mods such as exhaust and headers to say the least. So you're better off going with a cheaper intake and getting an Apexi SAFC or Neo so you can have it tuned for the other mods.

Actually I take my statement back. Take a new tube sock and stuff it in the intake pipe, the reduction in flow area will increase the velocity and it will be like having a turbo for way less money. Only use a clean sock however as a dirty sock won't flow as much air.
