well just like i said....here are the pics.... this is my mechanic Travis's car.some are when he was building it some are as it stands now. i will get some more pics uploaded next time i see him. he call it is his civette. civic+vette for some of you. makes around 530 hp and 600ft torque with the cams and minor tweaks plus he has a 250 shot on it. he's working on a new set up to make 800-900 hp. he runs a 10.6 and it trying to get to a 10 flat or high 9's....has the corvettes's dash,seats,front/rear rims/tires/motor/tranny/etc

he built a complete rear subframe to hold the tranny, house the tires, and to make it rear wheel drive...it was all sheet metaled upon completion

I'm a little confused... Hes got all that power to the REAR wheels on a ~2500lb car but only makes 10.6? Hes got everything going for the track (lite car rwd) I would expect much faster... or am I forgetting something?

it's a traction issue. even on a stock c6 it's hard to gain traction up until the 2nd gear.

yea that was the only thing I could think of. Is he running manual or automatic? High stall Torque converters are great :P What kind of suspension is he running?

yes but a RWD civic with almost 600hp
he gets bored and just builds things....he has had over 50 cars that i can think of not to mention his bikes
he built for a guy a 95 lexus gs300 2jzgte back like 7 years ago when no1 knew how
had a astro van with 42 yes i mean 42 12" subs in it that he primered every other week
a few low rider show trucks
had a dodge colt with a mitsu 4g63 motor, fmic, and a clutch and was running 11.3's all day. was ugliest by far car but man it moved
a ae86 with a 2jz swap which went NA-T
a awd gallant with oem 4g63,a wrx, a million honda's, a handful of mr2's,a evo 8, he had a turboed/airbagged show integra gsr, a mazda speed 626, a ferrari, etc etc

he has a lotus, rsx type s,my deceased brother-in-laws air cylinder stretch limo that used to be supercharged, the civette, and a few others currently sitting around his house.

he's just one of those guys u know? he thinks outside the box kinda like you putting the chevy into the gs...i wont knock it...its cheap/powerful and as far as i know never been done before! good luck to you sir....whats your first name again? im brian

yeah u forgetting traction! plus no full cage/chute/etc so he tries to feather it so they dont kick him off the track

and this is a much lighter car with almost no weight on the rear end

its a manual. i would have to ask him to be sure but as far as i know its just the oem corvette suspension...first time he took me for a drive in it...it scared the beejus outta me....no floor in trunk as he was still sheet metaling it! not to mention the passenger seat bracket wasnt made yet so my seat didnt bolt to the floor

ok guy i got 90% of the sound deeding out of the car and its about to make a trip out of town for the cage install. yeah!!!! I have the IS300 brake pedal mounted. And I have the clutch pedal position figured out but I'm going to wait until it comes back with the cage to mount it. Also if anyone can find me the schematic for the IS300 clutch pedal? I have a puzzle of parts to put together but no directions haha. I would greatly appreciate it. I've searched the internet and have came up with nothing.

So can I have people's opinion on my next choice I have to pull and custom make my rear fender flares so I thought to my self why not repaint the whole car since i have to paint the inside and cage. haha I'm just making up reasons do stuff. "while I'm in there...."

So first color we have is Olive Drab Green.....

the second is this color on a RX7 over in japan that was in JDM insider.

her is a link to a youtube copy of the segment in the dvd. too bad they didn't get the part were they interviewed the driver's b/c thats were you can get the full effect of this paint color. I'm leaning to this color the most.

or just ***** out pink!

lmk what you guys think...

here is a pic of the sound deeding removal and a left over piece of dry ice in hot water. I have the sides of the tranny tunnel stiff left but the piece of dry ice was so small It wouldn't stay up and against the side of the tunnel so i called it a night and threw it into some hot water.

Dry ice is crazy too. I took it and put it on a gas stove top and cranked it up full bore and the water stayed cool to the touch even after ten plus minutes at full heat. crazy!

pics of it heading down to get the cage welded in. I opted for tig welds too so the cage should be pretty baller.

forest ****'s car up in front. I got to ride in his car. I miss 240's a lot but i think my car should be badass once completed.
