Default What are some tips in improving hp after having exhaust and intake installed?

Hey guys I have an IS350 fully loaded with F sport parts. The only thing I do not have from them is the carbon fiber engine bay cover.

Would you guys provide me with some more tips in order to make my IS350 faster? I already have the f sport intake and exhaust in there as well.
As for control, it is loaded with sway bars, under chassis brace, and etc.

Some more hp gain tips would be awesome =)

I really want to prove my rival with a bmw335i coupe to show him that lexus is capable to be in the performance genre as well.

IS PRIDE!! =)

as long as the 335i does not have a chip you can hang with it, even beat it from 0-100
if you want more gains you could get a midpipe and get 3-5 hp. and loose 10 pounds.

I think maybe the best you can do right now is get light wheels and tires. THAT will make a differenence since thee stock 18's are really heavy. you can save up to 10 pounds on each wheel with something light. also take off all the junk from te trunk of the car.

No it won't.

They don't even offer an application for the IS350.

As to Mazzuri, he's out of business, and the 2 sets of IS350 headers he made added about 0 horsepower to the car anyway.

To the original poster- remove the chasis brace, it's a bunch of extra weight that's doing nothing for you in street driving.

Pulling the cats might add 1% hp, at cost of not being legal anymore.

Lightweight wheels aren't cheap, but they'll do more than pulling the cats will and without violating federal law too.

Could even change tire size slightly to improve gearing at the same time.

You will need the jdm ecu for this to work properly, doesn't work on us spec cars. If you really want extra power there use to be a kit from lms that retailed for like 4 or 5g and is discontinued but you can still piece it together and build it on your own for a bit cheaper. Pm isuxel and he will probably give you the list to build the supercharger kit

oh and the kit provides around 30-50hp somwhere there if I remember correctly and then you add methanol injection for more power hehe

Hey all, you can go to UNICHIPs website and request that they support the ISx50's. Just do a search for your car on the site and it will bring you to a screen to make a request. They only trick is they don't have a Lexus selection but the IS250 and IS350 are listed under Toyota.

www.unichip.us

It might not do much for a NA car but....
