Ahhhh, update 3/24/09: Due to a problem with my daily, I had to put money into that and ended up not buying Jcats kit. I still hope to get at least what I need to get a low boost install by mid summer and hope to hit my 400whp mark by end of summer. I talked to a guy on clubna-t who has a shop in nj (which I will be in in june) and I might have him piece a kit together for me.

Take anything a shop says that doesn't specialize in your make/model with a grain of salt. A "wide range of cars" sounds like someone who is trying to make some money. If they had experience with your particular model he would have said "I did a turbo Gs/Sc/Is" etc... Each car is different, just because they can get it to work on a 2001 Integra doesn't mean it will work on a 2003 Gs get what I'm saying?
The reason I recommended the F10x and SRT is that the F10x is proven to work and work well on YOUR SPECIFIC APPLICATION. SRT isn't that far from you and they only tune Lexus so you know for sure you will have no problems with the tuning/installation. Taking it to someone who doesn't know the "ins and outs" of your exact vehicle and setup is always a 50/50 chance of disaster. Not to mention the fact that if they can't get it to work right you are going to be paying them to use your car as a guinea pig IF they can even figure it out, at that point you could have had a proven setup with a refined tune and been done with it.
