The only way a 2IS bolt on dual exhaust will fit, is if you IS220d resonator ends in the same place...
.. if it does, you should be able to purchase the rear drivers side exhaust mounting braket as well and bolt it right on.
If not, there is always the "custom route"
Here is what the OEM 2IS exhaust looks like on paper....

Sveinongen,
Before i answer your question regarding exhausts on a Diesel engine-let me tell you that i used to have 2 VW TDIs, 1 MB Diesel. I suggest you go to TDICLUB.COM for EXTENSIVE diesel information (including performance modification, exhaust,etc..etc.)
To answer your question: NO- The exhaust wont damage your exhaust, BUT ON A DIESEL ENGINE AN EXHAUST DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY PERFORMANCE GAINS (DIESEL ONLY). A lot of people on the TDICLUB actually runs on what we call as an Mufflerectomy (Muffler delete)- they just use cool looking tips---Go to TDICLUB for Diesel performance/maintenace tips...BELIEVE ME YOU ARE JUST TOSSING YOUR MONEY OUT IF YOU THINK AN AFTERMARKET EXHAUST WILL IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

I'm not buying it for performance, I could get a chip for that. I just want a better look than my single ugly muffler that look's like it from the war
With a chip i gain 108NM and 54HP
Resaulting in 225Hp and 508NM
