The drone did not go away, but the car is louder and noticeable sound wise in the higher rpms. With the Hipower exhaust, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to eliminate drone completely. It just comes down to whats acceptable to you.
im cool wit the drone, but i dont like how it dies off at middle to top end.
does it keep getting louder?
im really looking into it
It depends, if you bought the midpipe brand new, then you need to give it a break-in time, but it will get louder.
It was loud for me right off the bat.
You might notice a slight sound change the more you drive your car. It may become a little deeper, which is what I noticed over time. However, you should notice that the sound carries through the power band with the mid pipe on there.

I got the Hi Power on my 250 6MT and its great since i can control the rev's very deep at low rpms... so performance wise did you notice a bit more of a pull in higher rpms and was it much louder i would figure so in the video it just seemed more raspy .. and u guys got be crazt complaining about the drone from the HI POWER its music to my ears if u really dont like it id sugest gettin that dumb stock looking lexus HKS hahah
It feels better in the higher rpms, but like anyone else, its nothing noticeable, its more in the head. Although, cayman has proved it does give slight gains. Sound wise, it got louder, but bearable to me.
