fujita intake install car problem

Have a question and need some help.I just installed a fujita air intake and now my car runs kinda sluggish also my check engine light came on.Can anyone tell me what seems to be the problem?

You need to get a fuel controller and add some fuel. Basically you will need to pick up an Safc or something of the sort (around $200) and then have it tuned on the dyno ($75) so you are back to the proper air fuel ratio. If I was you I would just take off the Fujita intake and sell it or return it and buy a product that was properly designed for the Gs like the Srt intake.
Some "people" here like to bash the Srt intake but are nowhere to be found when people take their advice of just buying any intake and getting "most" of the gains (I guess they forgot to mention "most" of the gains included bad performance and check engine lights). That is terrible advice as right now you are losing power and having to deal with check engine lights etc...
It's best to use things that were designed and tuned for your particular car. Either way, I understand your new and didn't know any better but basically know you are looking at either buying an afc and having it tuned, basically spending another $300 or returning your Fujita and buying an Srt which is properly designed for the car. Either way will get rid of your check engine light but there isn't any way around it otherwise.

You installed an intake system. That's taking more air in. You did not compensate with fuel using a fuel controller. Therefore, your car no likey you no more. The car is running lean, making it seem sluggish. The factory computer can't comprehend WHY there is more air, so it can't compensate the fuel. Get a neo or get rid of the intake. Or, drive it that way and you could risk blowing your engine.

I looked and looked for a thread like this before i bought my wepon r, now i have the same bs problems, i tryed dissconecting the battery that didnt work now the cars missing and runs like crap. But on the brighter side my friend is buying me a neo. I personally would recommend keeping the intake buying a neo or safc, beacuse you can allways reprogram it far all your new mods, where if you get a srt you cant.
