It's dirt from an ineffective air filter. Why are you surprised? Better flowing filters let more dirt pass. It's pretty fundamental.

yea that what i was thinking.. but didnt want to think that .. .the 2nd filter use to be white and now its pretty black/grey...will it be harmful to our vehicles? or can it handle it?? i know dirt in the engine is bad.. just don't know the severity of the dmg it could cause?

Do an oil analysis to check for silicates.

Exclamation

Yeup.. Very Normal... well sorta...

Actually what your looking at is Oil Vapor being sucked back into the intake tube, to the throttle body, to be burned up...

..The vapor travels via the PCV Vacuum Line, which comes from the top side of your Engine.

Then the subsequent dirt particles that flow through your engine air filter and into the tube, sticks to that accumulated oil vapor.

What kinda of engine oil (brand & weight) are you using and how much are you putting in???

Also, your "High Temp Fiber Reinforced Silicone Sleeves" are not melted..

Thank You
Joe Z
