dont worry jeff tig is one of the EASIEST welders to learn on besides a MIG...
i sitll have my plasma cutter, arch, tig, and mig welders in the garage but i havent welded in years now
How are you planning on transitioning from the oval to round pipe?
Ovaling the round pipe to fit the shape of the oval. he has it done already. I dunno if he posted pics. Apparently hammers and c clamps with heat kinda failed lol.
Yes he finished and its on the car. As for pricing I am not sure you might have to ask him. Oval pipe is usually pretty pricey. Hardest part is making the oval into a circle to get it to adapt with the pipes.
nice welder that what i want next to add to my stick and two mig welders and my plasma cutter i want the tig though so i can weld up aluminum dont have the adapter for aluminum and almost as much as a tig and just get some scrap steel and practice the gas flow is very important to get a clean weld man jeff you seem like my kind of guy were a dying breed you and i not to many of us left that will do everything themselves just to learn something new......lol
