I saw your post in this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...no-more-4.html (last one) and was wondering if you still recommend against Castrol SYNTEC? Reason I ask is cause I just filled up with that and your post made me a little nervous...

5w30 usually has a lower pour rate. This means the oil will circulate quicker to the vital components, at start up. Again, 0w30 would be even better. Any of these weights would provide close to the same protection against thermal breakdown (All 30 weight at the hot end). Switching weights will not be a problem.

Well I did a bit more searching online and it seems like Mobil 1 is generally preferred over SYNTEC about 99% of the time.... looks like I'll be having an early oil change.
